BAS Construx

Lava basalt is volcanic lava that solidified over millions of years. Slow cooling makes a dense rock. The rock is melted at high temperature and drawn into fibers. Three times stronger than steel. No maintenance required.

Basalt fibers, bio resin, BL1 coating. Produced with minimal chemical intervention. More eco-friendly than carbon or glass fiber alternatives.

Three times stronger than steel. Lightweight, high tensile strength, low weight-to-density ratio. Low thermal expansion, stable across a wide temperature range.

No maintenance required. No sealing or oiling. Pressure wash with nozzle 30 cm away. Resistant to UV, salt and chlorine.

25 years (subject to conditions). Storage time unlimited. LCA & EPD certified for projects that require it.

Fibre

The rock is melted at high temperature and drawn into fibers. Three times stronger than steel. Lightweight, high tensile strength, low weight-to-density ratio.

Bio resin

Produced with minimal chemical intervention. More eco-friendly than carbon or glass fiber alternatives. Low thermal expansion, stable across a wide temperature range.

BL1 coating

Resistant to corrosion and chemical attack. No maintenance required. No sealing or oiling. Pressure wash with nozzle 30 cm away.

Colour and pattern

Each panel is handcrafted. Loop, Rush or Custom. Size, shape, pattern and colour can all be customised.
